CITIZENS COMPASS —A 17 years old girl, Peace Endurance Joshua has been declared missing in Ikorodu are of Lagos State.
Until her sudden disappearance, she was residing with her aunt, Mrs Aderonke Ogunkamisi of 42, Kayode Street, behind WAEC, Igbogbo in Ikorodu, Lagos.
According to Peace’s uncle, a retired Chief Suprintendent of Police who spoke with Citizens Compass about the development said his niece was last seen on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at about 12p. m.
Narrating how she got missing, he said, “Peace left home with the pretense that she wanted to go and collect clothes that she stole from the home where she kept it.”
He said the family does not suspect foul play as regards the disappearance of his niece.
The retired officer said the matter was incidented with the Ipakodo Division in Ikorodu on August 16, 2023. He said,” We did not suspect foul play as regards her disappearance. The matter was reported at Ipakodo police station, Ebute, Ikorodu on August 16, 2023.
“Police incidented the case, and I made a statement, and police sent a signal to other police formations on it.
“She is my late step sister’s daughter, and she has been with us from six years of age. She just got promoted to SS3 at Ayangburen Senior Secondary School, Ikorodu.”
