CITIZENS COMPASS— Former aspirants during the July 2025 Local Government elections in Lagos State have thrown their weight behind the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In their pursuit, they recently launched “The Renewed Hope Agenda ’27 Movement”.
This was disclosed in a statement made available to Citizens Compass.
The statement e-signed by its Coordinator, Emmanuel Dede and Secretary, Kehinde Moshood, stated that the platform was launched in partnership with the executive chairman of Apapa Iganmu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Jimoh Olawale Saliu.
It stated that the aspirants, during the occasion highlighted their contributions to the recent E-membership registration and PVC registration exercises.
Members of the group also reaffirmed their readiness to work tirelessly to ensure a resounding victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.
The group however appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, his Lagos State counterpart and the Lagos Central Senatorial District leaders for its members to be considered for supervisory councillorship position, Senior Special Assistants (SSA) and be included in the composition of the ward, local government and state executive positions.
