Popular singer, 2Face.gets appointment 

 

CITIZENS COMPASS — Amidst controversies trailing his relationship with a lawmaker in Edo State, popular singer, Innocent Idibia popular known as 2Face has been appointed as a Technical Adviser I. Benue State.

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, appointed the Singer as the state’s Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.

The appointment, which was officially announced by the state governor in a viral video on Wednesday, was part of the administration’s strategic move to tap into the entertainment industry as a tool for youth empowerment, community development, and positive social impact.

2Face, a proud indigene of Benue State, is widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential music icons. Beyond his chart-topping hits, he has earned global recognition for his philanthropic efforts through the 2Baba Foundation, focusing on peacebuilding, education, and good governance.

According to the state government, 2Face’s vast experience and influence in the entertainment industry will be instrumental in engaging the youth and driving initiatives that promote unity, creativity, and social development across Benue communities.
