
CITIZENS CITIZENS– One of the oldest thrift collectors in the Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ikorodu Division, Lagos State, (Chief) Mukaila Onabanjo, is dead.
Until his death, he was the Babaloja-General of Igbogbo Kingdom.
Also, he was the Babaloja of Kaniyi Owode Market, Igbogbo Kingdom.
It could not be ascertained if he was sick.
Onabanjo was the owner of Mikson Onas Hall along Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Stadium Road, Igbogbo.
A former Chairman of the LCDA and the Babaloja General, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Prince Jimoh Ogunmuyiwa, confirmed the death of the former thrift collector in one of his posts.

It is with profound sadness we Members of the ASSOCIATION OF COMMODITY MARKET WOMEN AND MEN OF NIGERIA ( ACMWAMN) IBLCDA.received the passing of our member and an illustrious son of Igbogbo, Babaloja Kaniyi Owode Market and Babaloja General Igbogbo Kingdom ALHAJI (CHIEF) MUKAILA ONABANJO.
As we reflect on his remarkable life and legacy, we are reminded of the significant impact he had on Market Associations in Igbogbo Kingdom in particular and ACMWAMN,IBLCDA in general.
As we bid him farewell, we stand in solidarity with the Kabiyesi, OBA (BARR.) ABDULSEMIU ORIMADEGUN KASALI,The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom. The Adeboruwa In- Council. His Children, wife, family and friends, Kaniyi Owode Market Women & Men and the entire Sons and Daughters of Igbogbo Kingdom.
We pray for the PEACEFUL REPOSE of his soul and ask that the Almighty Allah comforts his wife and children during this difficult time.
