CITIZENS COMPASS– Many candidates writing the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), were feared injured, yesterday, when the examination hall of Government Secondary School, GSS Namnai, Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba State, collapsed on them.
The incident occurred at about 6p.m.
Reports said the students were writing their examination when the structure collapsed on them.
It was gathered that some teachers, students and invigilators were reportedly trapped before help came their way.
Some injured victims were said to be receiving treatment at a nearby Primary Healthcare Centre in the town.
The incident occurred a few days after some candidates of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) wrote an examination in the night.
