In the footage, the woman, later identified as Luz del Carmen Herrera, was seen being handcuffed and escorted by U.S. immigration officers while her husband, Eduardo Duarte, pleaded desperately with officials. Visibly distressed, Eduardo cried out to onlookers, saying, “She’s the mother… Six girls. They’re waiting at home.” As officers proceeded with the detention, the woman remained calm while Eduardo continued to shout in disbelief, “Why are you taking her? They dismissed her case.”
