She was stripped to the waist while surrounded by a crowd, mostly women, who chanted as they dragged her along in what appeared to be a public shaming ritual.
According to reports, the woman was accused of stealing gari, a popular staple made from cassava. Community sources claimed she was caught in the act, sparking outrage among residents who decided to subject her to the humiliating punishment.
