In what could be described as a low-key ceremony, Aroyewun commissioned three laudable projects in Igbogbo, Ibeshe and Baiyeku in his quest for a renewed drive for grassroots development and improved quality of life for residents.
The three projects were commissioned on Wednesday, November 13, 2025 to the administration of many featuring the official unveiling of the renovation and upgrading of Ibeshe Primary Health Centre in Ibeshe (Ward C4), the reconstruction of existing buildings and a newly constructed health building in Baiyeku Primary Health Centre, Baiyeku (Ward C3), and a reconstructed, equipped block of six classrooms at Methodist Primary School, Igbogbo (Ward C1), with six units of modern toilets.
The event reflected the council’s commitment to the GLORY Agenda, focusing on good governance, quality education, wellness of all residents, youth and sports development, and Infrastructural developments that directly benefit the people.
Addressing attendees at the events, the Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to deliver the mandate entrusted to him by the people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. He said every project commissioned (and those to be delivered in due time) is a reflection of his promise to ensure that citizens have access to the basic amenities expected of a responsive and people-centered government.
“Our mission is clear, to provide quality healthcare, sound education, and functional infrastructure that make life easier for our people.
“These projects are not just structures; they represent hope, service, and our commitment to the social contract we owe our community.”
