CITIZENS COMPASS—A 20-year-old man in Ibadan, Oyo State is currently in Police net for allegedly being in possession of human parts.
Spokesperson, Oyo State Police Command, disclosed this in a statement over the weekend.
Ayanlade Olayinka, has arrested a 20-year-old man over an alleged unlawful possession of a suspected human part.
Olayinka said community vigilance group members arrested the suspect who disguised as a scavenger on Friday at about 8:00 am at the Oroki area of Oyo due to his strange movements and conduct.
He said that the concerned residents subjected the suspect to a search and found a human being’s right leg inside a large sack containing waste plastic bottles in his possession.
“Upon receipt of the report, a Police joint patrol team, in collaboration with other security partners, swiftly rushed to the scene where an angry mob had gathered with intent to lynch the suspect.
