CITIZENS COMPASS— The Gospel singer who cried out because of hunger has said that dying of suicide would be her last option inspite of hunger.
She disclosed this in a trending video which captured another interview she granted with a social media influencer, Abiola Adebayo.
Citizens Compass reported that Eleyele had taken to her TikTok page curing of hunger.
She also granted an interview to Abiola complaining of hunger.
In another trending video monitored by Citizens Compass on Friday, she dismissed an attempt to die of suicide saying she was misrepresented.
The video captured Abiola tracing the Gospel singer to her apartment.
Abiola was accompanied by someone as both headed for the hotel where the singer was lodging.
One clarified some points as Abiola submitted that she was tagged in the earlier video which necessitated her visit.
Responding to an allegation that she was contemplating suicide, she said: I never said that I was going to commit suicide. I think it was a misconception.
Actually I was really frustrated, feeling strange and lonely as if I had nobody around me.
I was feeling exhausted and just went live asking, ‘is anybody out there that cares about me.’ I just wanted to see if there were people that loved me and I told them to share this video. I said ‘tap, just show me you love me.’ I started reaching out to my fans and many of them came out to share the video.
I never planned to expose myself this way, I have gone through a lot since 2020 but kept quiet because I don’t want people treating me as a pity party.
I want people to be natural around me. I don’t want to be treated as a subject of charity. That is why I don’t want to go out and tell people my story.
There is something someone said in that live and that was what made me break down in tears. I won’t lie, I am tired.
I can’t say I want to kill myself
because I know the consequences. As a Christian, I know that dying of suicide is a sin and anyone who does that will end in hell fire. Saying that I am tired or exhausted is because of what I’ve been through.
I put so much into my career without getting anything in return.
I made that video because I was hungry.
