CITIZENS COMPASS— A few days before his wedding, a military officer in Sokoto State, Lieutenant Abdullahi Isma’il Chafe, has been reportedly ambushed and killed by unknown faces.
Chafe’s wedding ceremony was scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026.
The deceased was said to have issued his wedding notification before the ugly incident was recorded.
Social media users claimed several officers were killed during the att@ck, though authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
An X user alleged that the late officer’s fiancée was preparing for their wedding when news of his d+ath broke, while others expressed outrage over the continued att@cks on security personnel in the country.
