Energy Resources boss to chair NUJ Correspondents’ Chapel Press Week

CITIZENS COMPASS—– Boca Energy Resources Ltd, a leading indigenous oil and gas company, has officially confirmed that its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. James Ukachukwu, will chair the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Lagos State Council Correspondents’ Chapel annual Press Week, scheduled for June 27, 2026.

The confirmation follows a formal invitation extended by the Chapel’s planning committee.

In his response, Mr. Ukachukwu personally affirmed his intention to attend the event in person, demonstrating his commitment to media-industry collaboration and ethical journalism.

The week-long programme typically features a lecture series, symposia, awards ceremony, and networking sessions aimed at fostering high standards of reporting and ethical practice.

Mr. Ukachukwu’s acceptance to chair the event underscores his respect for the media’s role in national development, transparency, and good governance.
