CITIZENS COMPASS— After years of retiring from his active service as an Assistant Corps Commander with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), ACC Samson Olaseinde Ige, has become an industrialist to reduce the unemployment rates in the country.
Part of his strategies was production of herbal toilet soap to fight infections.
The retired ACC recently paid a courtesy visit to the National Headquarters of the corps in Abuja.
During the recent visit to the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, mni, where he seized the opportunity to present his products.
Ige was able to prove that he has been making Nigeria proud by being an industrialist and entrepreneur after his retirement.
He noted that the initiative was aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, creating employment opportunities and contributing to Nigeria’s economic growth through local production.
During the visit, he commended the Corps Marshal’s leadership and achievements in road safety administration, digital transformation, staff welfare, public enlightenment and operational efficiency, while reaffirming that retired officers remain loyal ambassadors and strategic stakeholders of the Corps.
Responding, the Corps Marshal said FRSC was proud to receive Ige at a courtesy visit.
