CITIZENS COMPASS— Former Nollywood actor turned cleric, Jimmy Odukoya, on Sunday, introduced his new wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to his congregation.
This makes his marriage to Mo official after the end of his former marriage.
He is the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos.
Jimmy is the son of late relationship coach, Bimbo Odukoya, and her late husband, Taiwo Odukoya.
The announcement was made during the church’s Sunday service describing Mo as the church’s First Lady as he invited her to the altar.
“Ever since I became a pastor, I have been doing this work of life alone. The Bible said it’s not good. I was looking and searching and I found it.
“I am sure some of you saw the post, some people said is it artwork? It is my wife, so allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs. Mo Odukoya, my wife.your First Lady.”
Responding, Mo said: “Good morning, family. It’s my pleasure and honour to be here and stand alongside my husband, the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church,” she said.
The marriage marks a new chapter in Odukoya’s personal life following the end of his previous marriage to Oluwakemi Sade Banjoko.
The former couple got married in London in March 2013 and had two children together before their separation.
