Bride slumps as jilted lover disrupts bridal procession 

 

CITIZENS COMPASS – A wedding ceremony billed to be held in Apete, Ibadan, Oyo State, was disrupted over the weekend, when bride’s former lover disrupt the bridal train procession of her wedding. 

It was gathered that the jilted lover resorted to extreme measures to disrupt her bridal procession to the church. 

The incident caused the bride to collapse and led to a ripple of reactions among netizens. 

The Citizenscompass learnt that the woman who, for reasons best known to her, promised marriage to two different men. As the story goes, she played with the emotions of both suitors, leading them to believe they were the chosen one. However, fate took an unexpected turn when she decided to marry one of the men, leaving the other heartbroken and desperate for revenge.

On the much-anticipated wedding day last Saturday, the couple embarked on their journey to the church, filled with joy and excitement. However, their blissful ride was soon interrupted by the rejected suitor who had devised a plan to block their path and disrupt the nuptials.

Eyewitnesses recall the chaos that ensued as the spurned lover executed his disruptive scheme with precision as he successfully used his vehicle to mount a block on their way. The roadblock successfully halted the wedding procession, leaving the bride stunned and bewildered. Overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events, the emotional turmoil proved too much for the bride, as she fainted on the spot. 

The disruptive act caught the attention of onlookers and passersby, and the news quickly spread across social media platforms. Netizens were divided in their reactions, with some expressing sympathy for the bride and others criticizing the woman for playing with the emotions of two men.
