CITIZENS COMPASS –The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), on Monday, April 29, 2024, appointed super player, Finidi George, as the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles.

NFF announced the appointment in a communique on Monday.

With the appointment,  Finidi becomes the 41st coach to occupy the position since the adhoc engagement of John Finch, former Fulham winger in 1949. 

George who belongs to the Nigeria Golden Generation of Super Eagles of 1994 spent 20 months as assistant to José Santos Peseiro.
