Hoodlums snatch car on gunpoint 

… Ogun Police send alerts 

 

CITIZENS COMPASS —Some men suspected to be hoodlums have snatched a Toyota Camry car and some important documents from a resident of Sagamu, Ogun State. 

The man has incidented the report with the Nigeria Police Force, Sagamu Division. 

Spokesperson, Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, January 21, 2024. 

She has since alerted various Divisions to be on the lookout. 

“The Divisional Police Officer Sagamu has received a report of armed robbery. 

“The complainant who was robbed of his Toyota Camry car also known as ‘Muscle’ with REG number 269JH Lagos by unknown hoodlums emerged from no where on the 20th of January 2024 at about 2240hrs around Awomosu Kara Sagamu while entering into his house.

“The complainant further narrated that he was threatened with a gun and he was physically assaulted during the unfortunate incident, and that vital documents and valuables were taken away.

“Responding swiftly to the incident, by the Anti robbery team, the area has been cordoned off and other checkpoints have been contacted relaying the information about the stolen vehicle. 

“Additionally, the Communication Department has alerted other Divisions in the State to initiate an aggressive stop and search operation within the state that will facilitate the recovery of the stolen vehicle.

Members of the public and residents of Ogun State are hereby notified to contact the nearest Police Station for assistance by volunteering a clue to the Police that will lead to the recovery of the stolen vehicle.”
