CITIZENS COMPASS— The Council Chairman of oIgbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), Ikorodu Division, in Lagos State, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun popularly known as HOA, has mourned Hon. Habib Anifowose popularly known as Alapa, whose death was recently announced
Until his death, Anifowose was the Councillor representing Ward C5 in IBLCDA.
Aroyewun in his tributes expressed sadness at the sudden death of Anifowose saying he died at a time he was mostly needed by his people.
According to the Council Chairman: It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that I received the news of the sudden passage of Hon. Habib Anifowose (Alapa), the esteemed Councillor representing the good people of Ward C5.
This is indeed a dark day for our Local Council Development Area. Hon. Anifowose’s death is not merely the loss of a dedicated public servant, but the loss of a voice that championed the welfare and development of his constituents with unwavering commitment.
Throughout his service to this LCDA, Hon. Anifowose distinguished himself as a man of principle, steadfast in his pursuit of good governance and the betterment of Ward C5. His contributions to our collective progress shall remain etched in our hearts and in the annals of our dear council.
To the immediate family, relatives, and the people of Ward C5, I extend my deepest condolences. While we mourn this irreplaceable loss, let us take solace in the legacy of service and dedication he has left behind.
May his soul find eternal rest, and may God grant his family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
