Ikeja Electric slashes tariff for Band A customers 

...Promises 24-hr electricity supply

CITIZENS COMPASS —Nigeria’s leading electricity distribution company, Ikeja Electric Plc (IE), says it has done a downward review of its tariff for consumers on Band A Feeders.

The electricity distribution company disclosed this on Monday, May 6, 2024, in a public notice via its website.
According to the update, consumers on Band A Feeders will now pay the sum of N206.80/kwh as against N225/kwh.
The company said the downward review is effective May 6, 2024.
However, the tariff for Bands B, C, D, and E remains unchanged
The update reads titled, supplementary order on tariff increase on Band A Feeders, reads, “Dear Esteemed Customers,
Please be informed of the downward tariff review of our Band A feeders from N225/kwh to N206.80/kwh effective 6th May 2024 with guaranteed availability of 20-24hrs supply daily.
“The tariff for Bands B, C, D, and E remains unchanged.”
