Lagos mechanic stabs brother to death over N1,500 

CITIZENS COMPASS– POLICE operatives attached to the Denton Police Division, Ebute Meta area of Lagos has arrested an auto technician, Monday Nnime, 21, who allegedly stabbed his brother, John Okoh over N1,500 workmanship fee.

He was arrested on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 for the deceased, 28 on the neck with a broken bottle during a scuffle at their workplace along Sam Freeman Road.

Citizens Compass learnt that a disagreement ensued between the duo, as the suspect alleged that his brother cheated him in a N1,500 business deal.

It was gathered that a customer had given the money to Okoh after working on his vehicle.

Confirming the incident, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Spokesperson, Lagos State Police Command, said Okoh was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute Meta, for treatment but was confirmed dead on arrival.
