CITIZENS COMPASS- THE Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has paraded six suspected oil thieves and uncovered a bunkering site where adulterated Automobile Gas Oil (AGO) also known as diesel are produced in large quantity at Oregun axis of Ikeja area.
The site was located at No 5, Abayomi Estate, Olusosun.
The suspects are six four males and two females namely Babatunde Adedayo 35, John Eric, 35, Jude Uwosa, 51, Sodiq Olawale, 27, Neat John , 20, and Isaac Anita, 32.
A truck (Scania – white colour ), with number plate FS7737XF, two pumping machines and drums with suspected adulterated AGO were discovered at the site.
The Lagos NSCDC Spokesperson, Abolurin Oluwaseun disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
