CITIZENS COMPASS– THERE was panic in Coker Aguda, Surulere, Lagos State, as a combined team of the Military and Police foiled an early morning robbery attempt in the area, today.
Eye witnesses’ account said an exchange of gun fire between the robbers and security men lasted for almost one hour as fears enveloped residents of the area.
It was gathered that luck ran out of two of the gang members who were arrested in the process.
Citizens Compass learnt that the gang were operating around Pako, Willie Omiyi and Omilani in the but this was foiled by the security operatives.
Narrating the incident, a resident Godfrey Helen said her next door neighbour was almost attacked.
