CITIZENS COMPASS— A 42-year-old married woman, who was earlier declared missing in Ondo State has been found in a hotel room with her lover.
The woman, Mrs. Tilewa Olatunde Funke, was reported missing on Friday, April 3, 2026.
However, she has been found with a 55-year-old lover, Isa Alaba.
Spokesperson, Ondo State Police Command, Officer, Jimoh Abayomi, confirmed the incident to newsmen.
Abayomi said Tilewa’s family disclosed that their daughter left Ilara-Mokin for Akure at about 10 a.m. on that day.
The family said they were unable to trace her as her phone was switched off.
It was learnt that security operatives activated a search and the ‘missing’ house wife was traced to a hotel in the Ugbe-Akoko area, about 124 kilometres away from Ilara-Mokin.
According to the family, “She was not abd¥cted as initially feared. She left on her own without informing anyone and was later found with the man in the hotel.”
