CITIZENS COMPASS —Barely six weeks after the death of popular Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad, his childhood friend, Owodunni Ibrahim aka Primeboy, has called out his widow, Wunmi to tell the word all she knew about how the late singer was sent to an early grave.
The childhood friend also filed a petition against Wunmi over what he described as false accusations and threats to life.
Recall that there was confusion over the patternity of Liam, Wunmi’s son.
Mohbad’s father, Joseph has told Wunmi that the only way to convince him about Liam’s patternity is DNA test but Wunmi on her part has also alleged threats to life.
Mohbad’s death has generated controversy as fans and friends have staged protests about the death.
In the course of investigation, Primeboy a popular Lagos socialite, Balogun Olamilekan Eletu popularly known as Sam Larry, the owner of Marlian Records, Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley and some other suspects have been arrested by Lagos Police as Nigerians await the autopsy result on the late singer.
Recently in a viral video, late Mohbad’s mother alleged that Mohbad’s father directed Primeboy to run away after Mohbad’s death.
On Friday, March 29, 2024, Primeboy posted the petition on his Instagram which partly reads, “Petition against Omowunmii Adebanji (Aloba) for threat to life, false accusation and using men of the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID to intimidate and coerce Mr Owodunsi Ibrahim (our client) into making false confession of causing grievous bodily harm on Ilerioluwa Aloba (deceased ) aка Mohbad.
“Petition against Inspector Muhammed of State CID Panti for official high handedness, abuse of police powers and attempt to pervert justice contrary to Section 92 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.”
On the Instagram page, the petition was accompanied with some letters, “Primeboy posted the petition on his Instagram official handle in the early hours of Friday morning, addressing Wunmi, “I told you to stop mentioning my Name…… You didn’t stop……. Now It is the time to tell the whole World the truth you said you know about what kill your boyfriend (Mohbad)….. Or you face the Music!!!”
