CITIZENS COMPASS –The Pathologists who conducted the autopsy test on the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad have released the result.
However, the result could not determine the cause of the Singer’s death.
This was disclosed by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Wahab Shittu, during a coroner’s inquest held in Lagos State on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
According to him, the pathologist in charge of the autopsy informed the coroner that Mohbad’s body had decomposed by the time the test was conducted, making it impossible to determine the cause of death. The pathologist suggested that the late singer may have died due to a reaction to certain drugs administered to him before his death, but this was not confirmed.
Shittu stated, “The cause of death cannot be ascertained… When you say the cause of death cannot be ascertained, it means it is suspicious, it is not clear. No particular reason.”
Recall that Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, in the Ajah area and was buried in Ikorodu but Police later exhumed the body for autopsy following protests by fans and friends.
Recall that his death sparked protests in the southwest while members of his family have been at loggerheads with one another.
