CITIZENS COMPASS— The Vice Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on Sunday, dismissed the insinuations that his party would form alliance with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to be victorious at the 2027 general elections.

Kwankwaso said that the opposition ADC is not an alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said his presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was not ready to step down.

He disclosed this while responding to claims surrounding the NDC ticket and its chances in the forthcoming election. He said, “We will not withdraw our candidature for the ADC or any other party.

The NDC ticket is neither working for nor acting on behalf of the APC or any of its candidates. We see no possibility or reason to withdraw from the presidential race in favour of the ADC candidate or any other.

The APC-led government has failed Nigerians, and the ADC offers no better alternative.
