CITIZENS COMPASS— Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, on Friday, threatened to cause unrest should any plot to dethrone the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja becomes successful.

Igboho gave the warning in a viral video stating that any governor who tries to remove Ladoja would face resistance.

According to him, the royal father is an indigene of Oyo State and should be respected.

“They will declare a state of emergency. If any governor tries it, it is from Soka here that this state would be shaking. Why will you remove Olubadan? All of us are from Oyo State,” he said.

Igboho also reacted to the rumour making the rounds that some people were planning to waylay or ambush the monarch.

He warned that noone should dare attack the Olubadan at home or anywhere.

The rumour to dethrone Olubadan started in April when former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, claimed that Governor Seyi Makinde was plotting to dethrone Ladoja because he missed the planned coronation of high chiefs in Ibadan.

However, the Oyo State Government through its Commissioner for Information, Dotun Oyelade, said there was no such plan.
