CITIZENS COMPASS –Sokoto State Government has approved payment of June salaries for workers in the State.
Abubakar Bawa, Press Secretary to the state Governor, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
‘’In an effort to ensure that workers in the state celebrate this year’s Eidel Kabir comfortably, His Excellency the Executive Governor of Sokoto State Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto PhD, FCNA,has approved the payment of June salary beginning from tomorrow Monday the 10th of June 2024.
‘’The payment covers State civil servants, local governments, and LGEA staff as well as pensioners in the state.
‘’The Governor wishes the entire Muslim Ummah a hitch-free Eid-el-Kabir festival.”
