CITIZENS COMPASS— Some child traffickers have allegedly removed the womb of a 19-year-old girl for refusing to become a prostitute.

The teenager who resided in Delta State was said to have been trafficked to the Ivory Coast by a family friend under the pretext of giving her employment.
However, she was asked to practice prostitution which was vehemently rejected.

Her traffickers were said to have offered her a drink which made her feel unconscious and the next was that she was rushed to a place believed to be a hospital where an unspecified surgery was carried out on her.

However, the wound refused to heal and she was taken to Lagos State where she was abandoned.

Spokesperson, Delta State Police Command, Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident in a video.

Edafe said the suspects have been arrested.

He said: I am Edafe Bright, and this is the Delta State Police Command. This is one of the pathetic situations we have today which is that of a 19-year-old girl from Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. She was approached by a friend of her daddy, that they want to help her travel abroad. They promised to get her a job though the type of job was not disclosed only for them to take her to the Ivory Coast and discover it was a prostitution job which she outrightly declined.

She told them she wanted to return to Nigeria but they said they didn’t have money for her return trip.

Along the line, they gave her something to drink and she fell unconscious and they took her to a place they called a hospital where they injected her.
When she woke up, she discovered that her tummy had been ripped apart. Their intention was that by the time they were through with her, she could practice prostitution easily.

Unfortunately for them, the injury refused to heal and they brought her to Lagos to abandon her and she found her way back home.

That was how the matter came to us.
Without asking questions, we arrested these suspects, and we took her to the hospital for a medical examination. Lo and behold! The doctor found that her womb had been removed.

These wicked people that called themselves human traffickers have removed her womb.

As I speak, the lady behind the camera is already in tears because it is a sad story.

Confession:

Two of the suspects said they were offered the sum of N400,000 and N150,000 respectively to traffic the teenager to the Ivory Coast.
One of them identified as Blessing said:

My name is Blessing, na my girl, I asked her if you go like to travel and she said yes.

My friend’s name is Esther. They paid me N400,000 to make arrangements for her trip.

I gave birth to three boys and an 18-year-old girl.

Another suspect identified as Esther said: My name is Esther, my friend gave me N150,000 to bring the girl to the Ivory Coast.

The video was alongside some inscriptions which read: You want to know how heartless human trafficking syndicates can be, then you need to listen to how they trafficked a 19-year-old girl from Delta State to the Ivory Coast, for prostitution, and when she refused to engage in prostitution, they injected her, removed her womb, and returned her to Nigeria.

The video captured the girl with plasters around her tummy and waist.
