UPDATED: IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu in court

THE Federal Government of Nigeria on Tuesday re-arraigned the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu before a Federal High Court in Abuja for continuation of trial.

Operatives of the department of state Service (DSS), were said to have produced Kanu before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Mr. Kanu was brought to the court amidst tight security at about 1:40 pm.

Justice Nyako however ordered Kanu to be detained until July 26, 2021 for continuation of trial.
