Background information
In his recap, Edafe said, “I am SP Edafe Bright and this is Delta State Police Command. About two weeks ago, the internet was awash with the murder of one of the former Chief Justice of Delta State. She was murdered in her apartment because she was found lifeless in her apartment with her legs and hands tied while her face, face, nose and eye were tied.
“We believe that due to lack of air, she died. However, the security man who she newly employed was nowhere to be found, our investigation revealed that the act must have been carried out by the security man because they took away two of her phones (displaying the phone) and some of her belongings.
“Delta State Police Command in our usual way embarked on intelligence-led investigations, traced this suspect and arrested him in Anambra State.
“The operatives of the Homicide Department of the State Criminal Investigation Department are the ones who carried out this investigation. Lo and behold! The suspect was arrested alongside his friend who also took part in the brutal murder of the judge. Aldi, there is another one who is presently at large.
“This is the Samsung phone of the deceased and this is a handkerchief which the suspects took for hard currency and later abandoned at the security post when they found out that it was not hard currency.”
