CITIZENS COMPASS— Russia President, Vladimir Putin, has addressed the President of the United States of America (USA), Donald Trump, for capturing Venezuelan leader, Nicolas Maduro.
Recall that Nicolas Maduro was captured after the USA launched a “large scale strike” on the South American country.
He was captured alongside his wife.
Putin reacted to the capture in a viral video which said: Listen President Trump, your actions have crossed the line and Russia will not tolerate this aggression.
You claim to defend the sovereignty of the United States yet you undermine the sovereignty of others.
The seizure of a Venezuelan oil tanker in International waters is a clear violation of international law. This is not about security, it’s about your desire to control global resources and destabilise entire regions. Your actions are not just provocative, they are reckless. You are pushing the world closer to conflict with every unjust seizure with every hostile move.
Let me make it clear, Russia stands with Venezuela. We will not stand by and let you violate their sovereignty. We will not stand by while you try to manipulate the global oil market. Your actions risk escalating tensions beyond your control and Russia will protect its allies. You are playing a dangerous game and we will not hesitate to those who stand with us.
