CITIZENS COMPASS —The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Saturday, November 19, 2023, alerted parents about a tactic being adopted by some Nigerian youths by concealing illicit substances in fancy bottles.
NDLEA urged parents to be vigilant and look out for small, decorative bottles in the bags or pockets of the youths.
The Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.
According to him, the bottles are reportedly being used to package substance known as Loud/Colos.
He said the youths are commonly found in areas like Lekki, Ikoyi, and Victoria Island in Lagos.
The Director said the substances are sold at a considerable price, with each bottle fetching around N15,000.
Heads up to parents. Please watch out for these fanciful small bottles in the bags/pockets of your kids.
“They’re now being used to package Loud/Colos for our youths, especially those in the Lekki/Ikoyi/VI axis of Lagos.
