CITIZENS COMPASS–A brother to the social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), on Sunday, called for prayers as sudden silence of the influencer on social media.
Verydarkman has suddenly kept mute for two days a situation that has raised questions among his fans.
In an emotional message, the brother said, “Good morning everybody I am not here to say much but I want you all to pray for Verydarkman. It’s not easy. He hasn’t posted for two days. I know you all are asking question ‘where is VDM?’ The truth is… today is Sunday, as you go to church remember to put VDM in your prayers for good.”
Though he didn’t reveal what exactly was wrong, the call for prayer left many worried. His brother’s vague message triggered mixed reactions across social media, with people sharing both support and skepticism.
One user, @_SammyNas, reacted with alarm, writing, “The truth is what?, ehhh God abeg oh, make nothing happen to him.” Another, @akinwale_cfi, added, “I was refreshing his page last night before going to bed and I didn’t see a new post from him… May God keep him 🙏🏿.”
However, not everyone was convinced by the secrecy. @lordofdx commented, “He made it look like he wanted to talk about his whereabouts but ended up saying nothing.” And @storji expressed a more critical view, saying, “If he is not telling us where he is or what happened to him, then there’s no need to do any useless prayer. The mistake we will do is to trust VDM complete without using our heads. He is a good person, but we must constantly use our head on some issues. I won’t say more than this.”
For now, many are left in suspense. While some are genuinely worried and offering prayers, others feel confused or even manipulated by the vague message. As the silence continues from Verydarkman himself, his fans are waiting and hoping for an update that brings clarity.
