CITIZENS COMPASS— No fewer than 150 suspected bandits have reportedly drowned in a boat mishap in Sabon Gida, Sokoto State.
The mishap reportedly occurred on Saturday evening.
A counter-insurgency and security expert in the Lake Chad region, Zagazola Makama, made this known in a post via X.
He stated that the incident occurred on Saturday evening when the vessel carrying a large number of armed men overturned while crossing a water body in the area
