CITIZENS COMPASS— The Council Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), Ikorodu Division, in Lagos State, on Wednesday, urged Muslims worldwide to rekindle their spirit of humanity on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-ul-Adha celebration.

In his goodwill message, Aroyewun said:
Eid Mubarak to the good people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. I especially wish all of us a happy Sallah, and I pray that we witness many more seasons in peace and prosperity.

Every Eid al-Adha presents an opportunity to revitalise our spirit of humanity. Beyond the usual celebration, let’s reach out to one another with love and compassion, and let’s rededicate ourselves to advancing our collective progress.

The myriad challenges facing us as a people mean that our dedication to our country must be strengthened so that our hope can be renewed and actualised. As we aim to achieve glory and put smiles on our faces, we must continue to care and do good always.

In this blessed season of Eid-ul-Adha, may Almighty Allah accept our prayers, sacrifices, and acts of devotion. May this celebration bring unending peace, and abundant blessings to every home across our society. May Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA continue to witness growth, progress, and prosperity in all ramifications.

Wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous celebration filled with happiness, fulfilment, and divine favour.
Thank you and enjoy the holidays.
Eid Mubarak!
