Aroyewun for Monumental Award at Zone 4 CDC on Sunday

CITIZENS COMPASS—The Council Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA) Ikorodu Division in Lagos State, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) will be among the notable Nigerians to receive monumental awards at IBLCDA Community Development Committee (CDC) Zone 4 in the area.
Aroyewun was nominated for rehabilitating the Maternity centre along Baiyeku Road and other achievements in the Zone.
59 other Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in notable achievements will also receive awards in the Zone.
CDC Zone 4 in Igbogbo-Baiyeku will be dishing out the awards at the maiden edition of its Annual General Meeting (AGM), Compendium, and Awards to be held at Maternity Centre along Igbogbo-Baiyeku Road at 1p.m on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
CDC Zone 4 Chairman, Prince Femi Adelaja and Planning Committee Chairman, Mr. Tunde Momoh, disclosed this yesterday, in a chat with Citizens Compass.
Speaking about the event, CDC Zone 4 Secretary, Prince Lanre Obanisola, told Citizens Compass that the historic gathering is the first of its kind.
Obanisola said that the AGM for the Zone was held on Saturday while the Compendium and Awards will be held on Sunday.
He urged residents to be actively involved as matters concerning community developments would be treated.
The Key Note Speaker is a seasoned community developer.
Adelaja thanked the planning committee for working hard to ensure the success of the programme.
