CITIZENS COMPASS —The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has advised the Presidential candidates for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party, Peter Obi, to take the back seat during the 2027 presidential elections as both would not win.
He said that Atiku would have fixed Nigeria’s problem assuming he was announced the winner of the 2023 elections.
The cleric said the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi would have sunk the nation assuming he was declared the winner.
He spoke during an interactive session with journalists shortly after an annual thanksgiving programme, ’21 days of unlimited praise’ in Oke-Afa, Lagos.
Primate Ayodele said some manipulations would occur and jeopardise Atiku’s moves in 2027.
He said: “Atiku is God’s choice, but Nigerians will not vote for God’s choice. I am saying this because I heard from God and I am not like other pastors who don’t stand by their words.
“I say it as it is and I stand by my words, so anybody is free to criticise me. I am not bothered“.
As regards the presidential bid of Peter Obi, he said,
Peter Obi will cause tribalism, sentiment, and nepotism, there will be a highly corrupt nation if Obi becomes president.
“God did not pick Obi because He does not want him.”
Atiku and Obi cannot be president in 2027, mark my words.”
