Buhari arrives Imo

PRESIDENT of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, arrived Imo State on a working visit to the state.

He arrived Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri at about 9am.

The President is expected to commission some landmark projects in the state and attend a town hall meeting with South East political stakeholders on the way forward in the zone.

The visit is the first time in 12 years that a civilian President would visit Imo State on a working visit and deliberation of Statecraft.

Ahead of the President, service chiefs in the country have arrived the airport.
