CDA donates toiletries, drinks, others to POGET Care Homes

CITIZENS COMPASS —The Prince Abiodun Ogunleye Community Development Association (CDA) led by Prince Tunde Oyediran, on weekend, donated toiletries, assorted drinks, beverages, noodles, detergent, water and other items to POGET Care Homes in the estate.

The Chairman, Community Development Committee (CDC), Pastor Abayomi Adelakun presented the items on behalf of the CDA.

Presenting the items, he commended the efforts of the Founder of the Home saying it takes somebody with a good heart to run a home.

He adviced the staff and workers in the Home to make their presence known in the community for patronage.

The CDC Chairman promised that the Home would be publicized at the community levels. He said, ‘’This type of home is rare and I will advice you to make your presence known in our Communities. I commend the founder for the good work, you can be rest assured that we will have you in mind.

‘’We would publicize you at the community level ,as a way of appreciating the good works you are doing. Keep up the good work.’’ He said.

Responding, a Volunteer at the Home, Lion Aduroja Olanrewaju Abayomi said he went for care certification and was posted to the Home for internship but he later volunteered himself to be part of the workers.

He said the chairman of the Home is based in the United Kingdom and the Foundation has branches in badagry, Abule-Egba and Ikorodu.

A nurse at the Home, Mamud Bosede Favour  appreciated the donation saying it would be well utilized.
