Chairmanship aspirant promises impactful leadership in Lagos

 

CITIZENS COMPASS– Princess Zainab Adeniji-Adele Adewale, a chairmanship aspirant in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State, yesterday, promised to offer impactful leadership in the council area, if elected as chairman.

Adewale,who is seeking the All Progressives Congress(APC) ticket for the top council position, disclosed this in Lagos.

Citizens Compass reports that the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission(LASIEC) has fixed July 12 as the date of Local Government election in the state.

The aspirant promised to build on the rich legacies of past administrations to lead the community into a new era.

She also pledged to apply the leadership lessons learnt from her late father, Prince Ademola Adeniji- Adele ,who was once chairman of Amuwo-Odofin LG and her husband, Mr Ayodele Adewale, who also once served as chairman, to take the LG to the next level.

“Building on these rich legacies, I am ready to lead Amuwo Odofin Local Government into a new era, where we, as a united community, can rise above our challenges and create a brighter future for our children and generations to come.

“I believe the time has come for a new era of leadership, one that truly reflects the collective hopes, dreams, and pressing needs of our people.

“Together, we can elevate Amuwo- Odofin LG to greater heights, where every resident has the opportunity to prosper and our communities become beacons of sustainable growth and progress,” she said.

According to her, Amuwo Odofin LGA is home to ambitious youths, dedicated professionals and resilient elders.

She said the council has potential for greatness in spite of its numerous challenges.

“Within every challenge, I see an opportunity for transformation; a chance to turn Amuwo Odofin LG into a community where everyone feels safe, empowered, and proud,” she said.

The aspirant said she would give priority attention to Improving Infrastructure, economic development, quality healthcare service and environment protection, security,if elected.

She listed her other priority areas as youths and women empowerment, support for cultural diversity and creative Arts, effective transport system, tourism, creation of wholesale and retail fish markets.
