FEW HOURS after the veteran Nollywood actor Chinwetalu Agu regained his freedom from the Nigerian Army, the Department of State Services (DSS), has reportedly picked invited him for questioning.
Details of his invite to DSS office was sketchy at press time but a Nigerian writer, Chiagozie Fred Nwonwu who writes under the pen name Mazi Nwonwu, alleged the actor was picked up by the DSS.on Friday.
In a post on his Facebook page on Friday, Nwonwu claimed that Chinwetalu Agu is presently in the custody of the secret police.
“Chiwetalu Agu is still not free.
He is with DSS now. Colleagues say they are looking for a top lawyer to bail him,” Nwonwu wrote.
Recall that operatives of the Nigerian Army apprehended Chinwetalu Agu for wearing a Biafran flag outfit but a video on the social media showed the actor explaining that his mode of dressing has nothing doing with Biafra.
Pointing at a painting on his dress, the actor was seeing saying, “this is a shinning Sun. I want my life to shine,”
The soldiers proceeded to search his vehicle and fired some shots into the air to scare away onlookers.
