Former Lagos SSG Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya dies at 74 

FORMER Secretary to the Lagos State Government Princess Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya, is dead.

 

She was aged 74.

 

Princess Adeniran-Ogunsanya served as secretary to the Lagos government between 2007 and 2011 when Babatunde Raji Fashola, incumbent minister of Works and Housing, was governor of Lagos state.

 

Details of her death were sketchy at press time  but she was said to have died after a brief illness.

 

She was the daughter of Adeniran Ogunsanya, prominent Ikorodu born politician and associate of the late Nnamdi Azikiwe.

 

The deceased was in the political camp of Engineer Funsho Williams, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate who was assassinated in Lagos.

 

She defected to the Action Congress (AC), where she was appointed under Fashola government.
