CITIZENS COMPASS— Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, was conspicuously missing at a special meeting reportedly organised by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
The meeting was reportedly held in Spain with some key players ahead of the 2027 election campaign.
The meeting involved members of the Rainbow Coalition in the state.
Those reported to have attended the meeting include the Executive Director of Projects and Infrastructural Development at the South South Development Commission (SSDC), Chief Marcus Nle Ejii; Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Senator Mao Ohabunwa; and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Rivers State, Kingsley Ogundu Chinda.
The exact purpose of the meeting was not disclosed.
Governor Fubara was said to have recently identified with the coalition as a member.
