Ibadan explosion: Yoruba Indigenes Foundation condoles Makinde 

 

CITIZENS COMPASS —Yoruba Indigenes Foundation (YIF), on Friday, expressed condolence to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde and the people of the State following the explosion whicj occurred in Ibadan on Tuesday night. 

The Foundation expressed its consolation in a statement by its President/Chief Executive Officer, Dr Olumide Aderibole. 

It reads, “On behalf of Yoruba Indigenes Foundation worldwide, We extend our condolences to Your Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, the Yoruba indigenes in Ibadan and the good people of Oyo State.

“This is our condolence/sympathy message, in this trying time, following the explosion and the pandemonium, from an illegal warehouse of explosive devices in Ibadan. 

“We are not relenting in our supplications for the affected families, as they go through the pains of this difficult time. “As an elitist Pan Yoruba organisation, we sympathise and empathise with our brothers and sisters, who are affected by this unfortunate incidentally. They 

“We pray for speedy and spirited recovery for the injured.

“May the departed souls find eternal rest.”
