Igbogbo-Baiyeku grades inner roads
CITIZENS COMPASS— The Council Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), Ikorodu Division in Lagos State, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has completed the successful grading of over 20 inner roads within a period of eight months in office.
The extensive grading exercise has brought immediate relief to residents across multiple communities that had long grappled with poor road conditions and limited accessibility.
The intervention cuts across major roads and residential streets, including:
Olumo Major Road, Osasona Babatope Avenue, Ebenezer Ola Gbangbose Crescent and Abayomi Olushile.
Others were Folawuyo Avenue,
Alhaji Adewale Street, Bayewo Orimisan, Ochele Oga, Michael Odumade Street, Samsideen Ipaye Street and Olayinka Abioye Street
These improvements have significantly enhanced mobility, eased transportation challenges, and improved the overall quality of life for residents.
A standout feature of the exercise is the comprehensive grading of nine roads within the Shared Divine Estate CDA, including:
Mike’s Street, Albert Enomah Road, Roads C, D, E, G, G Extension, H, and I.
In line with its inclusive development agenda, the administration has confirmed that road grading activities will extend across other CDAs within the LCDA.
With equipment and personnel already deployed to additional communities, the initiative is being systematically expanded to ensure that no part of IBLCDA is left behind.
