
Kidnappers demand ₦1 billion
CITIZENS COMPASS– The kidnappers of a Chinese expatriate, Mr. Sam Xie Wie, and his Nigerian colleague, Mr. David Adenaiye, have demanded N1 Billion ransom before they could be released.
Both were abducted at a mining site in Kwara State.
The demand was revealed in a post on Friday by
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama, disclosed this yesterday, on his X Handle.
According to the post, the abductors used the victims’ mobile phones to contact an associate identified as Mr. Leo Liang, demanding a huge sum for their freedom.
The victims were kidnapped on Wednesday during a violent raid on a mining site.
The attack also led to the death of two personnel of the Police Mobile Force who were assigned to protect the expatriates.
Makama noted that security operatives and local vigilante groups have launched a search operation in an effort to rescue the abducted men unharmed.
It was learnt that the Nigeria Police Force has swing into action.
