CITIZENS COMPASS —The mother of the Auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedemgbe who administered injections on the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad before he gave up the ghost, has spoken out over the arrest of her daughter.

Recall that the nurse was among the five suspects arrested and detained by the Lagos State Police Command in connection with the death of Mohbad.

The mother debunked the allegations that her daughter was responsible for the death of the singer. 

In a video that lasted for some minutes, she noted that the three injections her daughter gave Mohbad couldn’t have killed her. She said her daughter administered Tetanus injection, Paracetamol injection, and antibiotics on Mohbad to heal his swollen hand.

The mother said her daughter learned nursing for three years at a private hospital in Ogun State and she had been practicing it for a year.

She said her daughter never knew Mohbad until the day Mohbad’s friend, Spending, called her over to treat Mohbad. She said Mohbad’s friend, his wife, younger brother and PA were present while her daughter treated Mohbad.

The single mother of two further begged Nigerians to come to her aid in these trying times and by extension gets teary in the process. 

“The injection the Nurse gave Mohbad couldn’t have killed him. She learnt nursing for 3 years and she has been practicing it for 1 year. My daughter didn’t even know she was going to treat Mohbad. She has never met him before the injury. It was Mohbad’s friend, ‘Spending’ who called Feyisayo to come help him treat his friend.

She only administered first aid which were anti-biotics, paracetamol, and anti-tetanus injections, and these are not capable of killing Mohbad.

My daughter told me Mohbad’s wife, friend, brother and Personal Assistant were present while she treated the deceased.

Recall that Mohbad died in Ajah, Lagos, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 and was buried in Ikorodu the following day. 

The Nigeria Police Force have exhumed the body and conducted an autopsy on it.

He is yet to be reburied.

His death sparked controversies among his fans, friends and well wishers.
