CITIZENS COMPASS – The coroner inquest on the death of Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba popular known as Mobhad was on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, stalled, due to compliance to Nigeria Labour Congress directive to embark on indefinite strike.

It was to take place at the Magistrate’s Court, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Citizens Compass reports that the last coroner inquest was ajourned till Nov 15, for continuity to determine the cause of death of the late singer so that justice can be served.

Citizens Compass also reports that the security officials of the court denied Magistrates and judiciary staff from entering into the building to do their daily work.

One of the staff who spoke under anonymity told Citizens Compass that there was a full compliance to the strike by judicial workers adding that they have received the strike notice earlier before  today.

Mr Ajayi Samuel, a businessman also registered his displeasure over the attitude of the security officers at the gate denying even those who had cases to attend to in the High and Magistrate court.

“Today we are not aware that there is a strike, I came to the court to get justice on my case of stealing.

” But non of the staff were allowed in even the Magistrate, the next date of adjournment now I don’t know,” he said.

Mrs Victor Oyelami, also said that she was denied access to the court due to the ongoing indefinite strike nationwide and urged the unions to take it easy with people because they were not aware

She appeal to the federal government as a matter of urgency to do the needful and call off the strike because it would addore to the ongoing untold hardship currently experienced by the public.
