“My sin with Sokoto APC Government”, politician, Buhari Namalam cries out

CITIZENS COMPASS— Alhaji Buhari Namalam, A Sokoto politician and main grassroots youth mobiliser for the Governor Ahmed Aliyu’s 2023 elections, has broken silence over a plight that he faces with his former political leaders in the state namely Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Governor Ahmed Aliyu, his government of Sokoto State and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Namalam, whose outburst was made via a video now in circulation, swore by the Holy Qur’an saying that his two crimes against those politicians and the APC in the state are, number one, his popularity with the youth in the state and, two, his refusal to the advances of “sodomy” towards him which he blatantly refused.

According to a translation of the video made in Hausa and now viral on Facebook, Namalam, also a successful businessman in Nigeria, said:

“People of Sokoto, let me tell you and I swear with this Holy Quran in the eyes of Ahmed Aliyu Government I committed two sins.

“Number one, I am popular with the youth of Sokoto evident by the way I mobilise youth in large numbers for Governor Ahmed Aliyu in 2019 and 2023 you can see, watch my video of 2019 and 2023.

“The second sin I swear with this Holy Quran I am carrying, the “OLD MAN” (referring to Sen. Wamakko) asked me to Sodomy twice by openly showing me his “PENIS”. I swear by this Holy Quran there is one of Governor Ahmed Aliyu very close confidants by name GOHE TAFIDA, just some days before the 2023 Governorship elections he called me and said “Buhari Namalam, They have asked for sodomy you refused. You should shut your mouth and don’t decamp from APC. If we win elections, you will be compensated.”

“I swear to Allah this was what he told me and I am ready to be challenged on this confession in a court of law or DSS invitation.”

Contacted, Abubakar Nawa, the Chief Press Secretary to Sokoto State Governor,, did not respond to messages by Citizens Compass.
